Research interests
I am a PhD student interested in evolutionary and behavioural ecology, working on animal models with an ecophysiological approach. I am particularly interested in how individuals differ in their physiological and behavioural traits, and what this variation implies for phenotypic evolution.
PhD project
My PhD investigates individual variation in physiological responses to heat in great tits (Parus major) sampled along an urban gradient. I combine metabolic, endocrine and behavioural measurements to characterise how several physiological compartments respond simultaneously to temperature, and how these responses covary among individuals. I then quantify the physiological costs of heat waves in urban and forest birds, using allostatic load and a panel of stress markers measured before and after exposure. Finally, I place these results within the pace-of-life syndrome framework, to test whether physiological, behavioural and life-history traits covary.
Academical background
2025 - 2026: Master's in Evolutionary and Functional Ecology (Université Paris-Saclay, Sorbonne Université, MNHN). Master's thesis supervised by Clotilde Biard (iEES Paris) and Alexis Chaine (SETE Moulis) on maternal effects in blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus) along an altitudinal gradient in the Pyrenees, based on antioxidant and lysozyme concentrations in eggs.
2022 - 2024: Engineering degree at AgroParisTech, specialising in environmental management and engineering.
