Marion BOISSEAUX
My research focuses on the functional strategies of plants and their responses to climate change. I have mainly worked on the ecology of tropical tree communities in French Guiana, using an original approach that combines tree ecophysiology and microbial ecology. I have also studied the hydraulic functioning of grasses, differenciating between C3 and C4 crop species. My postdoctoral project at the CEFE will be to understand how global warming will affect mountain plant communities through the lens of their functional traits.
