I am an evolutionary ecologist primarily interested in the interaction between sociality and evolution. More specifically, my thesis aims to study how the socio-demographic dynamics of group living affect selection pressures and evolutionary potential of key life-history traits like body size and phenology. My model species is the alpine marmot (Marmota marmota), a highly social ground-dwelling rodent.
