Ecologie comparative des organismes, des communautés et des écosystèmes

I am captivated by the study of adaptive strategies in plants, specifically focusing on the ecological and genetic factors that contribute to the resilience of plant species under environmental stress. My current academic and research efforts are centered around the Centaurée de la Clape, a plant species of significant ecological interest due to its limited distribution and susceptibility to water stress.

Utilizing advanced phenotyping, I aim to:

  • Characterize the physiological and morphological responses of the Centaurée de la Clape to water scarcity, understanding how these traits contribute to its survival in arid conditions.
  • Evaluate the potential for adaptive strategies within the Centaurée de la Clape population, which could inform conservation efforts aimed at preserving its genetic diversity and ecological functionality under changing climatic conditions.
