The team aims at:
Describing biotic interaction networks involving soil and liter organism communitities (arthropods, oligochaetes, filamentous fungi, insects)
Understanding the ecological determinants and the evolutionary processes explaining the multscale spatial patterns and the temporal dynamics of these communities
Models and object
- raised fields: precolumbian work, termite savannah, interactions humans/ants/plant communities
- mediterranean and tropical forests: mutualisitic ectomycorhizal networks, trophic networks, lepidopteran communities
- bird farms: interactions birds/mites/humans
Methodology and toolss
- ecology, taxonomy and community phylogenetics: life history trait approach, phylogenies, metabarcoding/NGS
- chemical ecology
- historical ecology
