For more than forty years, the University Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 has a research team in ecology. Today, this team is integrated into the CEFE.
The teachers and researchers of the "Anthropised Systems Ecology" team contribute to the courses of their Human Sciences and Environmental Sciences Faculty and are attached to the Doctoral School 60 (Territories, Time, Societies & Development).
The ASE team conducts researchs on the functioning of terrestrial and marine ecosystems along a gradient of anthropization, from protected environments to the "hybrid nature" of the most artificial territories. The interactions between human societies and ecological systems are at the heart of his thinking (perception, regulation, knowledge ...).
Location: J.H. Fabre building on the Paul Va' campus.
