The "Mandrillus Project" results from a collaboration between France, Germany and Gabon. It has been set-up at the village of Bakoumba in Gabon, in February 2012.
The project aims at studying, on the long-term, a wild population of about 120 mandrills living in the Lékédi Park in South Gabon.
We collect various types of data (behavior, parasites, hormones, genetic, odors...) to answer several questions in evolutionary biology
(see 'research for more details').
