The "Mandrillus Project" results from a collaboration between France, Germany and Gabon and has been set-up in the village of Bakoumba (Gabon) in February 2012.

The project aims at studying, in a long-term perspective, a wild population of about 120 mandrills living in the Lékédi Park.

We collect various types of data (behavior, parasites, hormones, genetic, odors...) to answer questions in evolutionary biology.
