modelling incomplete individual histories

 La mouette rieuse
Larus ridibundus est une espèce
typique du groupe des "mouettes à capuchons". La plupart de ces espèces
nichent à l'intérieur des terres dans des zones humides. La population étudiée
niche dans la plaine du Forez, 60 km à l'ouest de Lyon
(France). Chaque année plusieurs colonies s'installent sur les étangs de la
plaine. La colonie la plus importante (sur l'étang de La Ronze à Craintilleux, Loire) attire plus de 5000 couples nicheurs. Dans le cadre d'une étude à long
terme (1976- ), les poussins sont bagués chaque année sur les colonies.
Les
méthodes d'échantillonnage, appelées CMR (Capture-Marquage-Recapture),
permettent d'estimer les paramètres démographiques : survie, fécondité, accès à
la reproduction .... Dans notre étude, le baguage et les lectures de bagues sur
les étangs de la plaine du Forez permettent de nous intéresser aux échanges et
aux mouvements dans l'espace et dans le temps des individus, et d'aborder les
problèmes de recrutement et plus généralement de fonctionnement d'une population
distribuée spatialement.
